I was amazed to realize that the last time I wrote in this blog was Mother's Day 2008. Needless to say a lot has happened in the past year.
Today my goal for this post is to revise my Header. In 2006, I wrote that discovering Agel and its marketing team had changed my life. Little did I realize how much that would be true. I was thrust into the world of self development for another time, and since repetition over a period of years generally results in deeper insights and understanding, I feel that I have learned more lessons on a deeper level than ever before. However, rather than using these lessons on new endeavors, I have applied them to my stable, steady profession, that of Pulmonary medicine.
There is much to be said for just getting better in the field where we are already proficient. The first step, as I have learned, is to set your reasons, then your goals. Others say to look for your life purpose. Well, I found that I was already fulfilling my calling, so I was able to work on new growth in that area. Multiple ups and downs occurred, but I was more certain that this is my area and that I needed to grow in and from that position. Quite comforting actually.
I encourage anyone who reads this post to do the same thing. Invest in yourself by reading or listening to information on how to prosper or be successful, but be ready to apply the principles to every area of your present life. Apply them in the areas where you are already active. Once you are secure there, then consider other endeavors.
